A set of techniques that allows us to refocus our attention, through better management of our internal resources, to live in a healthier way.
Mindfulness, or full attention, consists of a mental training that teaches how to better deal with thoughts and emotions.
Through breathing exercises, the individual becomes completely aware of the body and mind, which helps to evaluate their thoughts and emotional reactions.
Most of our time is occupied with memories of the past and anxiety about the future. In a state of Mindfulness, it is possible for the individual to fully concentrate on the present, to be aware of their body, their emotions and everything around them, redirecting energy to the here and now.
Consistent practice of Mindfulness allows you to learn to pause, to switch off our automatic mode, to prevent or reduce depressive symptoms, anxiety, stress, and chronic pain, promoting well-being.
