To conduct an online session, you must first ensure that your browser and operating system are compatible. Check your device settings as well, ensuring that it is ready and that there are no blocks preventing your session from taking place. Confirm the data and take the test at the bottom of this page.

Take your tests here:

Test your camera:

We will capture a 10 second video and play it for you. If you can view your own image, your camera is working correctly.
The captured video will not be stored by our servers.

Test your microphone:

We will capture a 10 second audio and play it for you. If you can hear your own message, your microphone is working correctly.
The captured audio will not be stored by our servers.

MindFirst allows you to conduct psychology, coaching, or mindfulness sessions online with maximum flexibility and comfort.

You can carry out your sessions via PC, smartphone or tablet.

It is critical that you confirm the following details prior to the session:

1 – If you use a browser and an operating system that is compatible (see table below);

2 – If the settings on your device do not prevent access to the camera and microphone

3 - If your antivirus software does not prevent access to the camera and microphone.

The location chosen for the session must have a strong internet signal.

In the event of a problem, we recommend that you immediately "refresh," close all opened browser tabs/windows, and try again.

Check the compatibility of your browser and operating system:

Be aware of the following potential difficulties and resolution options:

Problem Solution
Temporary files/browser cache: Browsers use cache to speed up webpage loading times, but temporary files can cause issues when different versions of files interact If you run into any problems, one of the first things you should do is close the browser, reopen the website, and log in. You are forcing a 'refresh' of the page in this manner. You can also do the following: CTRL+F5 (Windows), Cmd+Option+R (Mac), and the refresh icon (Mobile).
Software Settings: Based on user preferences, device settings and anti-virus software can prevent access to the camera and microphone.

Allow access to the camera and microphone by changing the device settings and antivirus settings. Check if the antivirus will be able to add the website to the blocking exceptions.

Compatible Hardware / Drivers: Cameras and microphones rely heavily on drivers, particularly on Windows, as this type of software configures how the operating system will handle the hardware.

Check if your drivers are up to date.
Other factors that can impede access and should be avoided include: outdated or improperly configured software, which can interfere with the operation of cameras and microphones. Make sure your software is up to date and properly configured ahead of time.
